Items should be carried for a reason: treatment, sanity, movement, emergency control, or defense. Random hoarding wastes limited inventory space.
Sanity and survival items
- Coffee: community sources describe it as a sanity recovery item and a response item for some encounters.
- Chocolate: community sources describe it as stronger sanity recovery, but exact values need testing.
- Run Fast Cola: movement item for emergencies, item delivery, and escaping danger.
Emergency items
- Fire Extinguisher: used for fire-related hazards in community descriptions.
- Maple Syrup: treatment item for Low Sugar / Canadian and a reported Bed Monster response.
- Eyedrops: treatment item for Dried Eyes and mentioned in some eye-threat community notes.
Weapons and risk
Tasers and guns should not be treated as universal answers. They can help against confirmed hostile threats, but using them on normal patients is dangerous for the run.
The site does not publish exact weapon damage, charges, or cooldowns until those are measured in the current build.
